Welcome to episode 7 of The Orlagh Claire Podcast!
This week, I am in conversation with Giles Lury & Katy Mousinho, authors of Wonder Women: Inspiring Stories and Insightful Interviews with Women in Marketing.
A book that I read and reviewed in March as part of my women-focused reading month, I can tell you that this isn’t one to be missed if you are a marketer yourself or interested in the world of marketing and looking for female women as inspiration.
What we discussed
Giles, Katy and I talked about their careers in the marketing industry, the inspiration for writing this book, Giles’s past book projects and upcoming projects for the pair.
We discussed the incredible women in marketing that are mentioned in the book as well as some women and stories that didn’t make the final edit.
Surprising factors were talked about including how raising a family can have an impact on women’s careers more-so than men and what women have overcome in the past and the millennials driving the marketing world forward.
