Welcome to episode 8 of The Orlagh Claire Podcast!
This week I am in conversation with Stephanie O’Quigley, a public relations professional and influencer in New York City, originally from Ireland.
I’ve been following Stephanie on social media for a long time, and she was part of the reason why I really pursued my own move to New York, as she had already shown that it could be done, especially for someone who wanted to work in public relations.

What we discussed
I don’t want to say I grilled Stephanie, but I did ask a lot of questions. We discussed Stephanie’s early career in Ireland within public relations, how she got into blogging/influencing, her move to New York and the visa process.
We also discussed living in New York as an immigrant, experiencing COVID-19 in New York, as well as the Black Lives Matter movement.
It was so great to chat to Stephanie about New York and bond over our love of the city, finding out all about the different kinds of visas available and the stress that these can really cause.
