This small but mighty spot specializes in Mediterranean-inspired wraps, perfect for grabbing on the go or enjoying at the beach.

- Their signature falafel wrap is bursting with flavour.
- Add their garlic or tahini sauce for an extra punch.
It’s one of the best restaurants in Boracay for vegetarians and anyone looking for a light, refreshing bite.

2. Hakuna Matata
Address: Beachfront Station 2 Boracay Island Mandarin Nest Boracay, Malay, Aklan Province 5608 Philippines
For a chill and laid-back dining experience, head to Hakuna Matata. This restaurant lives up to its name, offering a worry-free atmosphere paired with great food.
What to try:
- The Filipino dishes here are fantastic—don’t miss the sizzling sisig or adobo.
- Seafood Boodle Boat – their iconic dish that’s perfect for sharing.
- The Lava Cheese Burger – the cheesiest cheese burger you’ll ever have.
- Their tropical cocktails are perfect for sipping while watching the sunset.
With its vibrant decor and island vibes, Hakuna Matata is a great spot for both food and fun.
We dined here on our first night in Boracay and tried the Seafood Boodle Boat. It was the biggest platter of seafood I’ve ever seen, and we couldn’t wait to tuck in!
The service, food, views and atmosphere on the rooftop with the live DJ was perfect for our first night on the island. One of the best seafood restaurants in Boracay!

3. Sunny Side Café

A Boracay institution, Sunny Side Café is the go-to spot for breakfast or brunch.
This beachfront café is famous for its hearty dishes, great coffee, and cozy atmosphere.
What to try:
- Their huge pancakes come in creative flavours like mango or ube.
- The chorizo eggs benedict is also a crowd favourite.
- Pair your meal with their signature cold brew coffee.
It’s the perfect way to start your day before hitting the beach. Or if you’re like us and working remotely and are looking for a cafe to work from on the island, this is the spot.
We worked from Sunny Side Cafe at Station 3 on our first day and this had great WiFi, air-conditioning and also lots of tables to choose from.
This is one of the best restaurants in Boracay to work from, as well as for brunch.
On our final day, we worked from Sunny Side Cafe at Station 1 and this spot was even better. With a few floors to choose from, this location looks directly out at the ocean and has a beautiful unobstructed view of sunset. So beautiful!
4. Don Vito Ristorante Italiano

So, if you’re craving Italian food, Don Vito is the place to go.
Located right on the beach, this spot offers authentic Italian dishes with a side of stunning views.

- The carbonara pasta is so rich and packed with fresh ingredients.
- Their wood-fired pizzas are also a hit—simple yet delicious.
Don Vito is perfect for a romantic dinner or a relaxed family meal.
We dined here for lunch and it was the perfect location with amazing food. We both shared the carbonara pasta and their most popular pizza – Don Vito Pizza. Delicious! It’s also one of the best restaurants in Boracay for Italian food!
Don Vito is also part of a hotel resort, Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel. Its ocean-front setting makes it the perfect location for water activities and also watching the iconic Boracay sunsets.
Plus, the food is delicious so you can always be guaranteed a great meal during your stay.

5. Gratitude Café

Although they serve food, Gratitude Café is an excellent place to take a break from the sun.
Nestled in the heart of D’Mall, it’s the perfect spot to grab an iced coffee and chill out for a while.
What to try:
- Their smoothie bowls are so refreshing and packed with tropical flavours.
- The vegetarian curry is also worth a try if you’re feeling peckish.
It’s a cozy retreat when you need a little shade and relaxation.
We worked here for a few hours from our laptops and enjoyed some iced coffees while watching the tourists walk through the shops outside.
6. La Fiesta

For a feast that offers cuisine from all over the world, La Fiesta is the place to be.
This buffet-style restaurant serves an incredible variety, so there’s something for everyone! A great spot if you’re travelling with family.
What to try:
- Sushi, Chinese dim sum, Indian curries, pizzas, grilled steaks, and also Filipino classics like lechon.
- Don’t miss the dessert section—everything from fresh fruits to indulgent cakes is on offer.
It’s a great spot for groups or anyone who wants to sample a little bit of everything Boracay has to offer.
This was another spot that we dined at during our time in Boracay and we couldn’t believe the variety of food that was on offer. We sampled sushi, dim sum, Indian food, Chinese food, local Filipino food, and also had steak with mashed potatoes, veg and gravy.
I was in heaven. It’s also one of the best buffet restaurants in Boracay!
And of course, I left a lot of room for dessert so I could try the local cakes and ice creams on offer. So, it would have been rude not to!
Another hotel option, La Fiesta is part of Mandarin Bay Resort & Spa, another great location along Boracay Beach, right in the heart of the island.

7. Jollibee

A trip to the Philippines wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Jollibee, the country’s beloved fast-food chain.
While it’s not exclusive to Boracay, it’s a must-try for its unique take on fast food.
What to try:
- The Jolly Spaghetti is sweet and unlike any pasta you’ve had before.
- Don’t miss the Chickenjoy with gravy—it’s so iconic!
Jollibee is one of the best quick, budget-friendly restaurants in Boracay and also the spot to go for a late-night craving.
We’d been in the Philippines for two weeks and hadn’t yet tried Jollibee, so this is exactly where we headed on our final night.
I enjoyed the pasta a lot more than I thought I would, even though it was sweet. Definitely one to try when in Boracay or the Philippines!

8. Nigi Nigi Nu Noos “e” Nu Nu Noos Beach Resort and Sports Bar

This quirky spot had to make the list for its lively atmosphere and reputation as a popular bar with live music.
Located right on the beach, it’s a vibrant spot to enjoy a drink or two while listening to live bands.
What to try:
- They do serve food, including seafood and bar snacks, but you’re really coming here for the music and drinks.
It’s also a fun place to unwind, meet fellow travellers, and soak in the lively energy of Boracay.
9. Percy Seafood

Named one of the best seafood restaurants in Boracay by Esquire, Percy is a must for seafood lovers.

Percy is so perfect for a slightly upscale dinner that showcases the best of Boracay’s seafood.

- Order a large serving—you’ll want to keep eating!
It’s the perfect treat to cool down on a sunny day, and the presentation in a coconut shell makes it extra special.
Coco Mama is the original location and where we dined at. We ordered a large bowl to share and could have had a large bowl each, it was that good!
This is something I’ll be dreaming about for months to come, and I might need to take a trip back to Boracay in the future just so I can have this again.
