Welcome to the Checking In series on Orlagh Claire where I review my stay in hotels, hostels, guest houses and AirBnBs around the world. This review: Golden Panorama, Nha Trang, Vietnam.
You can see hotel room tours of everywhere we’ve stayed over on my YouTube channel.
Next in this series of reviews is Golden Panorama, Nha Trang, Vietnam which was one of our favourite stays during our four weeks in Vietnam.
This was our first introduction to the beach and seaside in Vietnam, but it was hard to leave our hotel apartment. This might have been one of my favourite hotels of our entire 5.5 months of travelling. Our room was incredible!

Location of Golden Panorama
Golden Panorama is as close to the beach in Nha Trang as you can possibly get. From the lounge, it’s a two minute walk away.
Facing the hotel is many restaurants, cafes, shops and more. It’s right in the heart of a bustling tourist area, but from your bedroom, you wouldn’t know.
Being so amongst everything made this the perfect location for us as we could walk to the beach, coffee shops and restaurants.
What’s On Offer at Golden Panorama
I had to include a section in this review about the amenities as the hotel offers a 360-degrees rooftop pool along with bar and cafe. Unfortunately it isn’t free, but you can purchase a day pass which will be cheaper if you’re a resident at the hotel.
If you don’t want to pay, there’s also a smaller free gym and swimming pool on a lower floor that also has a bar and cafe. There’s even a spa on this floor too, so you can book in for a massage.
Cost to Stay at Golden Panorama
Our three-night stay at Golden Panorama cost £81.57. Per night, that was £27.19 and if we divide it by the two of us, it was £13.60 per night each.
This was one of our more expensive stays around Southeast Asia, but it was so worth it.
With floor to ceiling windows looking out over Nha Trang city and beach, a large and modern room with a huge bathtub, and even a small kitchen, it was incredible. We were on the 27th floor, which made for amazing views too.
Overall Review
I could have stayed at Golden Panorama for a week or more to relax. The view from our room was incredible and we had a large balcony too.
The room was so spacious and modern and the bed was one I didn’t want to get out of. Ever.
Plus, with the 360-degree rooftop pool, this made for a great place for me to have coffee and work on my laptop. Bliss.
