Why You Should Visit Hue in Vietnam
Nestled along the banks of the Perfume River, Hue is a must-visit city for anyone exploring central Vietnam. Once the imperial capital, Hue is steeped in rich history, ancient architecture, and cultural charm.
From the grand Imperial City and royal tombs to peaceful pagodas and vibrant local markets, Hue offers a beautiful mix of old-world heritage and laid-back vibes.
Whether you’re a history lover, foodie, or just someone looking to soak in the slower pace of Vietnamese life, Hue is the perfect place to unwind and dive deep into the country’s fascinating past.
Plus, it’s a great stop if you’re making your way between Da Nang, Hoi An, and Phong Nha.
Location of Pisces Hotel
Pisces Hotel is situated very centrally in the town of Hue. A small thing to note is that it’s down a little alley way, so cars and minivans aren’t able to drop you directly at the door.
However, from the main street, it’s a two minute walk to the front door.
For exploring Hue itself, we found it to be in a great location. Only a few minutes walk from some great coffee shops and restaurants we had saved to visit.

Cost to Stay at Pisces Hotel in Hue
We spent just one night at Pisces Hotel as there isn’t that much to do in the town of Hue. It was definitely somewhere I could have stayed longer, but we were catching a sleeper bus on the second evening to our next destination of Nimh Binh.
For our double room for one night, this cost us £18.56. So per person, this cost us £9.28 each. Which was an incredible bargain for this stunning hotel.
Overall Review of Pisces Hotel
This was one of my favourite hotel stays during our three months of travelling so far. Incredibly unique and vibrant, it really stands out amongst other hotels and locations around Vietnam.
Plus, the bedroom was beautiful, and the hotel also had a pool in the main courtyard. Adding to the riad and Marrakech effect.
I wish we could have stayed longer here as the staff were also great and incredibly helpful. One of our favourite stays on our travels, without a doubt!
