Ok, everyone is obsessed with the A Thousand Boy Kisses series online and if you search the title you’ll see fansites and more with images mocking up the characters and videos that have been made for the book.

The cheese and corniness dripping from the book was too much for me and some of the lines had me cringing so hard, but I will admit I did shed a tear at one point. I got through it and thought it was ok and a little emotional, but way too intense for people so young.

2. A Thousand Broken Pieces by Tillie Cole (#2)

My Rating: ★★★★

This is the sequel in the A Thousand Boy Kisses series, the young-adult romance I read in 2023. I found the first quite cheesy, but did actually shed a tear reading it, so thought I’d give this a go too.

I loved the fact that this was set in different locations around the world (some of which I’d travelled to recently, so I really loved this aspect). But again, it was quite cheesy, but definitely a great series for young people dealing with grief.
