Molly the Maid Series: Every Book Reviewed
Below are my ratings and reviews for every book in the Molly the Maid series by Nita Prose.

1. The Maid by Nita Prose
Molly Gray, a socially awkward but meticulous hotel maid, finds comfort in her strict routines and love for cleaning. Since losing her beloved Gran, 25-year-old Molly has been figuring things out on her own. However, her world is turned upside down when she discovers wealthy guest Charles Black dead in his hotel suite. With her unique behaviour raising suspicion, Molly becomes the prime suspect in a mystery that threatens to upend her carefully ordered life.
My Rating: ★★★★
And yet another book that I had seen everywhere this year and that has been topping the Amazon charts for a while, I actually picked this book up in Hay on Wye, the world’s first ever book town. While I was reading it, I realised how much I love reading about hotels and also realised how much I missed the hotel I used to work in/grew up in. This was a really good book, but the main character reminded me a little of Eleanor Oliphant and I’m not sure if the book was favourable towards her. A good mystery all the same and I can definitely see this being adapted into a TV show soon.

2. The Mystery Guest by Nita Prose
Molly Gray is so not like anyone else. With her flair for cleaning and proper etiquette, she has risen through the ranks of the glorious five-star Regency Grand Hotel to become the esteemed Head Maid. But just as her life reaches a pinnacle state of perfection, her world is turned upside down when J.D. Grimthorpe, the world-renowned mystery author, drops dead—very dead—on the hotel’s tea room floor.
My Rating: ★★★
I’d previously read the first book in this series, The Maid last year and enjoyed it. The second book is almost like an Agatha Christie novel. Full of unique and wholesome characters with some twists and turns along the way. If you’re looking for a cosy detective novel, then look no further.

3. The Mistletoe Mystery by Nita Prose
Molly Gray has always loved the holidays. When Molly was a child, her gran went to great lengths to make the season merry and bright, full of cherished traditions. The first few Christmases without Gran were hard on Molly, but this year, her beloved boyfriend and fellow festive spirit, Juan Manuel, is intent on making the season Molly’s most joyful yet. But when a Secret Santa gift exchange at the Regency Grand Hotel raises questions about who Molly can and cannot trust, she dives headfirst into solving her most consequential—and personal—mystery yet. Molly has a bad feeling about things, and she starts to wonder: has she yet again mistaken a frog for a prince?
My Rating: ★★★
This short little novella was just as wholesome as I thought it would be. It wasn’t ground-breaking or anything, but a nice little Christmas addition to the Molly the Maid series. However, it was very obvious where the story was headed, but still make a heart-warming read all the same.
