Welcome to the Checking In series on Orlagh Claire where I review my stay in hotels, hostels, guest houses and AirBnBs around the world. This review: Andaman Breeze, Ao Nang, Krabi Thailand.
You can see hotel room tours of everywhere we’ve stayed over on my YouTube channel.
Next in this series of reviews is Andaman Breeze, Ao Nang, Krabi Thailand which was our first Thailand stay at the beginning of our travels around the country.
You can see what we got up to in Ao Nang in my first Thailand travel vlog linked here! I’ll add it below, as it also includes a quick room tour of Andaman Breeze hotel:

New Country Unlocked: Thailand
We arrived into our fifth country of the world travels and touched down in Thailand for the very first time!
Thailand is such a popular destination, and I know so many people that have visited Thailand, and it’s always a hit amongst university students, especially the full moon parties.
I’ve heard so much about the country that I had a lot of preconceptions and high hopes. All of which were exceeded.
Our first impressions of Thailand came when we landed in Krabi Airport, ready to explore the southern islands.
Location of Andaman Breeze
We were staying in the Ao Nang area of Krabi, but I will say that Andaman Breeze was quite far from the beach compared to the other accommodations in the area.
However, it’s probably one of the nicer hotels to stay in and also has a pool and large bedrooms which we were very impressed by.
It’s a five minute walk away from restaurants and shops at the top of the main street. And then a 15 minute walk from the beach itself.
Cost to Stay at Andaman Breeze
For our 3-night stay at Andaman Breeze, this cost us a total of £34.73. Meaning, £11.58 per night and then if split between us both, £5.79 per night per person.
Making this possibly one of the cheapest hotels we stayed in during our travels, but also one of the nicest. We even had a private balcony that overlooked the pool!
I still can’t believe how cheap this was for our stay and can’t recommend it more.
Review of Andaman Breeze
Overall, I would definitely stay here again as our bedroom was huge and it was a good distance from the main Ao Nang area, so away from any late night noise/partying.
We had actually only planned to stay two nights. But extended it to three as we loved the hotel and wanted to explore more of the area.
The hotel even arranged for our transport to our next destination of Koh Lanta (you can see where we stayed here).
You can book a stay at Andaman Breeze here.
