The Best Elsie Silver Books to Read in Order
These are all of the best Elsie Silver books that I’ve read so far. I’ve dabbled into all of Elsie Silver’s book series to get a taste of what each offers.
Below are the best Elsie Silver books in order that I’d recommend you read them.

1. Flawless by Elsie Silver (Book 1 of Chestnut Springs)
The rules were simple… Keep my hands off his daughter and stay out of trouble. But now I’m stuck with her. There’s only one bed. And, well, rules are made to be broken. I’m the golden boy of professional bull riding. Or at least I was until it all blew up in my face. Now, my agent says I have to clean up my image, so I’m stuck with his ball-busting daughter for the rest of the season as my “full-time supervision.” But I don’t need a goddamn babysitter, especially one with skin-tight jeans, a sexy smirk, and a mouth she can’t stop running…
My Rating: ★★★★
I’d seen this book quite a few times on BookTube and heard it was a cowboy romance. If you know about my love for Nashville, then you’ll know why I picked this up. It was a good romance novel and made me interested to look into bull-riding as a sport. There are more books in the series that I’m looking forward to reading.

2. Heartless by Elsie Silver (Book 2 of Chestnut Springs)
In this small-town cowboy romance, grumpy single dad Cade Eaton meets Willa, the sunshine nanny who moves into his home for the summer.
Sparks do not just fly, they detonate. Forcing Cade to confront love, vulnerability, and the life he thought he didn’t get to have.
My Rating: ★★★★★
Elite romance. Elite chemistry. Elite everything.
Cade and Willa have that lightning-in-a-bottle dynamic that makes a romance impossible to put down.
The banter is sharp, the tension is delicious, and the emotional payoff feels like being wrapped in a warm blanket straight from the dryer.
If you want a comfort read with heat? This is it.

3. Wild Love by Elsie Silver (Book 1 of Rose Hill)
Wild Love by Elsie Silver kicks off the Rose Hill series with a forbidden small-town romance packed with tension and banter. Billionaire Ford Grant retreats to Rose Hill to open a recording studio, only to have his quiet plans derailed when a surprise twelve-year-old daughter enters his life and his best friend’s little sister, Rosie Belmont, storms back into town.
When Ford hires Rosie, years of pent-up attraction collide with forced proximity, grumpy x sunshine energy, and sizzling chemistry neither of them can ignore. It’s messy, emotional, and impossible to resist.
My Rating: ★★★★
I love the books I’ve read so far by Elsie Silver, so was very excited to get into this, especially with the reviews I’ve already seen.
It was good, but I found myself comparing it to other books I’d read recently like the Rebel Blue Ranch series and other best Elsie Silver books. I’ll definitely be continuing the series but I didn’t love it as much as I thought I was going to.

4. Off to the Races by Elsie Silver (Book 1 of Gold Rush Ranch)
Vaughn Harding returns to small-town Ruby Creek determined to save his family’s troubled ranch and restore its reputation. Hiring Billie Black to train his most difficult racehorse feels like the perfect solution, until her sharp wit, undeniable talent, and irresistible presence make staying professional nearly impossible.
As Vaughn and Billie clash and circle each other on the close quarters of the ranch, their rivalry turns into scorching chemistry. With his business on the line and his heart unexpectedly at risk, Vaughn must decide how much he’s willing to gamble, because this time, winning might mean more than crossing the finish line.
My Rating: ★★★
This is now my third Elsie Silver book series that I’ve started, and I just can’t get enough of her writing. I had heard good things about this series in particular, which focuses more on the horse-racing world, so less about cowboys and ranches.
Comparing to the other best Elsie Silver books on this list, I didn’t love it as much. I’m much more inclined to continue with the Chestnut Springs series over this one.

5. Out of the Gate by Elsie Silver (Book 1.5 of Gold Rush Ranch)
Dermot Harding has always been off-limits: older, a family friend, and an employee on her father’s ranch. After one stolen kiss at eighteen ended in rejection, he disappeared into the army, leaving her to pick up the pieces. Now he’s back at Gold Rush Ranch, and the looks he gives her, the lingering touches, and the time they spend training her dream racehorse crack open feelings she insists she’s buried.
Their chemistry is undeniable, even as Dermot claims he’s too old and too broken to be what she needs. Torn between pride and desire, she must decide whether risking her heart again is foolish, or the only way to finally get what she’s always wanted.
My Rating: ★★★
Off to the Races ended with a short story that gave a glimpse to some of the older characters’ backstory. It was the story of our main character from book 1, Vaughn’s grandfather and how he met his grandmother.
It definitely played a part in giving more depth and understanding to what happened in Off to the Races, and I actually enjoyed this just as much as some of the best Elsie Silver books on this list.
