It’s time to make my Stagecoach lineup predictions for 2026, and I think I might have it down to a tee.
Number one on my Life Bucket List at this point, is to attend Stagecoach Festival in California.
If you don’t know what Stagecoach is, then settle in. You’ve heard of Coachella I bet, right?
Well, after those two weekends of Coachella Festival, in the same venue arrives the ‘Mane Stage’, thousands of cowboy hats, hundreds of cowboy boots and a lot of yeehaws.
Country music comes to California in the form of Stagecoach Festival.
Before we get into my Stagecoach lineup predictions for 2026, let’s look at 2025’s Stagecoach lineup because I’m not quite sure how they’re going to be able to top it.

Stagecoach 2025 Lineup
Last year’s Stagecoach lineup was ridiculous. Ridiculously insane.
Headliners included Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll and Luke Combs. I mean, how can it be topped this year?!
One thing worth noting however, is that all Stagecoach 2025 headliners were male. So I’m hoping there’s room for some more females this year.
Country 2 Country Festival just announced their headliners for the UK Festival yesterday (hitting Belfast, London and Glasgow) and again, it’s all men with Zach Top, Keith Urban and Brooks & Dunn filling the top spots.
Other noteworthy acts from 2025’s Stagecoach lineup included Lana Del Rey, Shaboozey, Ashley McBryde, Tucker Wetmore, Avery Anna, Scotty McCreery and Waylon Wyatt.
Hopefully just because they played at 2025’s Stagecoach Festival, doesn’t rule them out of 2026’s Stagecoach lineup, because I think they’d be great additions once again.
Back in April, the Sydney country bar Jolene’s actually hosted a Stagecoach watch-party for Zach Bryan and Lana Del Rey’s sets, so here’s hoping they do that again and I won’t have as much FOMO.
When is Stagecoach Festival 2026?
Stagecoach 2026 is taking place 24th – 26th April 2026.
Where is Stagecoach Festival?
Stagecoach takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. This is also the same location as Coachella Festival which takes place earlier in the month of April.
Is Stagecoach the Same as Coachella?
No, not quite. Stagecoach is country-music focused whereas Coachella is much more pop/mainstream music.
The Coachella 2026 lineup has already been announced with Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G headlining over the two weekends.
My Stagecoach Lineup Predictions for 2026
I’ve been listening to country music for years now, but most recently I’ve been listening to different playlists on Spotify to constantly hear new country music that’s breaking through.
Some artists pop up a lot (like Bailey Zimmerman, Morgan Wallen, Megan Moroney etc.), so it does kind of give an indication as to who the biggest artists are in country music right now.
But there’s also the other artists that trickle through that catch my attention and make me want to listen to a lot more of their work (Avery Anna, Ella Langley, Willow Avalon).
As well as the biggest names in country right now, I’m hoping to see some of the not-as-big country artists make it to the Mane Stage too.
Here are the country playlists by Spotify that I listen to every single day without fail:
And now for the most important part – my Stagecoach lineup predictions for 2026:
Stagecoach Lineup Predictions for 2026: Headliners
Trying to pinpoint my Stagecoach headliner predictions was actually a lot tougher than I first thought.
I had an idea in my head of who I was sure about, but then looking back at previous Stagecoach lineups, I started to shift things a little.
But here it is, my Stagecoach lineup predictions for 2026.
1. Bailey Zimmerman
I’m almost 90% confident that Bailey Zimmerman will be headlining Stagecoach.
He released his new album ‘Different Night Same Rodeo’ just last month and a lot of the songs have been all over the country playlists above, including ‘Chevy Silverado,’ ‘Hell or High Water,’ and ‘Lost’ (with The Kid LAROI).
Not to mention his recent collab with Luke Combs on ‘Back-up Plan’ from the same album, and the fact Luke Combs was a headliner last year. Is that a sign?
On a side note (this is how my brain works), The Kid LAROI is dating Tate McRae. Tate McRae features on the popular ‘What I Want’ song with Morgan Wallen. Does that mean the couple could be making an appearance to perform with two different country artists? Time will tell.
2. Lainey Wilson
I think it’s either Lainey Wilson or Megan Moroney for the female spot (if they’re so kind to give us one this year), but I feel Lainey Wilson has earned the headline spot, having been around for a lot longer.
In the last three years of Stagecoach Festival, there’s only been one female headliner (Miranda Lambert), so we’re well overdue.
Lainey Wilson released her ‘Whirlwind’ album in August last year, but is currently taking it on tour. I’ve got tickets to see the Whirlwind tour next February here in Sydney, which leaves plenty of room for a Stagecoach headline slot.
Plus, miss Lainey Wilson hasn’t performed at Stagecoach since 2023, so we’re all ready for a Lainey Wilson comeback.
3. Post Malone
Now this is my curveball headliner.
Some would argue Post Malone isn’t country. But others argue that Jelly Roll isn’t country and he’s one of the biggest artists in country music and headlined Stagecoach in 2025.
I was moving different artists in and out of this slot including Chris Stapleton, Riley Green, and Jordan Davis, but I think Post Malone has this one.
Post Malone’s most recent album F-1 Trillion is incredible, and since every song basically has another country artist collaborating with him, it would be a no-brainer for a great set to end the weekend with so many other country artist appearances.
For example:
- I Had Some Help (with Morgan Wallen)
- Pour Me A Drink (with Blake Shelton)
- Have the Heart (with Dolly Parton – that would be epic)
- Guy for That (with Luke Combs – this is me hoping Luke Combs comes back for another year, and he could also make an appearance during Bailey Zimmerman’s set)
- Missin’ You Like This (another track with Luke Combs, solidifying the above)
- Nosedive (with Lainey Wilson – backing up my Saturday headliner prediction)
Given all of this evidence your honour, I think Post Malone might be a cert for the Sunday slot.
Other Artists in My 2026 Stagecoach Lineup Predictions
These are the artists I expect we’ll still see in the 2026 Stagecoach lineup, but I don’t think they’ll be headlining.
Some of these were very close to making my top spots, and I think they’ll definitely be making the poster, but I’m just not sure in what order.
1. Chris Stapleton
Chris Stapleton has been among the Stagecoach lineup predictions rumour-mill for a headline slot, but I’m not totally convinced.
He headlined Stagecoach Festival back in 2023, and I think the country music market’s just got so many amazing names right now that there’s room for fresh headliners.
2. Ella Langley
One of my current favourite country music artists right now, miss Ella Langley is a cert to appear on the Stagecoach lineup (in my opinion).
With her popular collabs with Riley Green, their romance rumours circulating the industry, I think it would be remiss if they didn’t have Ella on the bill.
Plus, with ‘You Look Like You Love Me’ nominated for song of the year at the CMA’s (her duet with Riley Green), it makes the perfect excuse to have them both at Stagecoach in 2026.
3. Riley Green
Which leads me to the next artist I’m expecting to see on the Stagecoach 2026 bill.
Riley Green is very popular at the minute, especially with the female demographic (have you seen those arms?!) and the ‘are-they-aren’t-they’ rumours with Ella Langley, I can see them performing quite a few duets at the festival.
Are they our modern day Johnny Cash and June Carter? I guess we’ll have to wait until Stagecoach 2026 to see (if they make the lineup, of course).
I’m very much hoping for live versions of ‘You Look Like You Love Me,’ and ‘Don’t Mind If I Do,’ two songs they collaborate on as a duet.
4. Jordan Davis
I love Jordan Davis and hope he headlines Stagecoach in the near future (could this be the year?).
I mean, he did just release a new album last month…
But something’s telling me he’s just not there yet. I do have a feeling Stagecoach 2027 could be the one, and he was amazing when I saw him open for Luke Combs earlier this year.
Jordan will also be coming off the back of a world tour in April, so the timing is perfect for him to make an appearance at Stagecoach 2026. It’s a cert, surely!
5. Megan Moroney
Megan Moroney has been everywhere this year, and like I mentioned above in the Headliners section, I was deciding between her and Lainey Wilson for the top spot.
She’s been linked to dating Morgan Wallen (some say her hit song ‘Tennessee Orange’ is about him) and released the ‘Am I Okay’ album last year which has been nominated for Album of the Year at this year’s Country Music Awards.
She’ll be at Stagecoach next year without a doubt, but warming up for a headline spot in years to come.
6. Zach Top
Back in 2024, Zach Top’s name was at the bottom of the Stagecoach lineup for the Friday night. In 2025, he wasn’t part of the Stagecoach lineup at all.
However, Zach Top is probably one of the biggest names in country music right now.
He’s headlining Country 2 Country in the UK, and he’s been nominated for five CMAs this year. So if you’re not too sure who Zach Top is, I’d recommend getting familiar with the name.
Not quite the Stagecoach headliner just yet, but in a few years, I definitely think so.
7. Morgan Wallen
Will Morgan Wallen make an appearance at Stagecoach this year if he’s not headlining? I don’t think so. I can see him making an appearance as a guest, but anything other than headlining won’t be an option for him.
With his huge album release this year ‘I’m the Problem’ (which I’ve been listening to non-stop), it would sound like the perfect headliner, right?
The reason I haven’t put him in as a headliner this year is because he headlined in 2024, only two years ago.
That’s not to say he can’t headline again, but I think with another album, he’ll definitely be in the running to potentially headline for the second time in 2027.
8. Tucker Wetmore
Another country artist I can’t stop listening to at the minute, I’m really hoping Tucker Wetmore’s name appears on the 2026 Stagecoach lineup.
With very catchy songs like ‘Brunette,’ ‘3,2,1,’ and ‘Wind Up Missin You,’ his set would definitely be a good time for all in attendance.
And with his most recent album release this year back in April ‘What Not To,’ it makes sense for him to be on the lineup again.
9. Avery Anna
I’ve been listening to so much of Avery Anna’s music lately and I can’t get enough!
Avery Anna is no stranger to Stagecoach Festival, as she’s appeared on the poster lineup in 2025 and 2023, and I expect 2026 will be no different as her star continues to rise.
At only 21 years of age (!!), Avery Anna released her most recent album ‘Let Go Letters’ just a few months ago in May of this year. She’s definitely a name to keep on your radar.
Songs I’ve been loving recently: ‘Narcissist’, ‘Mr Predictable’ and ‘It’s Just Rainin’.
Stagecoach Lineup Predictions 2026
And there you have it, my Stagecoach lineup predictions for 2026.
I’ll be writing another blog post in a few days with my reactions to the lineup as I think it will announced any day now. Keep an eye on their Instagram page for updates.
And hopefully, in the near future, I’ll have a blog post (or 10) reviewing my own experience at Stagecoach. Here’s to big dreams, eh?
