I ended up going for the chicken tikka wrap, and let me tell you—it was stunning. The chicken was perfectly spiced, tender, and wrapped up with fresh veggies and a tangy sauce that tied everything together. It’s one of those meals I’d go back for in a heartbeat, and I highly recommend it.
On top of the great food, Pirates House also has live music in the evenings, which makes for such a fun and relaxed atmosphere. They even have solid breakfast options if you’re looking for a morning pick-me-up.

3. Best Restaurants in Phi Phi Top Pick: Garlic 1992
Garlic 1992 was hands down one of the best restaurants in Phi Phi Island. And honestly, with a name like that, how could I resist?
If a place is called Garlic, you can bet I’m there. This unassuming, no-frills Thai restaurant might not look like much from the outside, but the food? Absolutely incredible.
We both ordered the khao soi, a rich and creamy curry noodle dish, along with a side of crispy spring rolls, and it ended up being one of the best meals of our entire trip.
The flavours were bold, comforting, and everything you’d want from authentic Thai cuisine. The portions were generous, and everything was served piping hot, which just added to the experience.
It’s no surprise that Garlic 1992 gets busy, and for good reason. A line can form during peak dinner time, so I’d recommend trying to arrive a bit earlier to grab a table without the wait.
4. Best Restaurants in Phi Phi Hidden Gem: Thai Duck Noodle Soup
If you’re looking for authentic local flavours that won’t break the bank, this hidden gem is perfect. This was another one of the best restaurants in Phi Phi that I adored!
The Thai Duck Noodle Soup spot is tucked away from the main tourist areas, and while it may not have the flashiest setting, it more than makes up for it with its incredible food and unbeatable prices. If you’re traveling on a budget, this is the place to go for a delicious and satisfying meal.
I stumbled across this spot by accident, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my food adventures on Phi Phi Island.
The duck noodle soup was amazing. Rich, flavourful broth, tender duck that just melts in your mouth, and noodles cooked to perfection. It’s one of those meals that feels simple yet masterful, hitting every note just right.
The portions are generous, the prices are super affordable, and the flavours are nothing short of incredible. It’s one of those hidden gems that you’ll want to rave about to fellow travelers.
5. Slinky Bar
More than just a bar, Slinky Bar is a full-on experience and a must-visit when you’re on Phi Phi Island. Located right on the beach, this spot comes alive at night with music, dancing, and some of the best entertainment on the island.
It’s famous for its fire shows, where performers put on jaw-dropping displays with flaming poi and sticks, creating an electric atmosphere that keeps everyone mesmerized.

The drinks are well-priced, especially during happy hour, and the party atmosphere ramps up as the night goes on. With a mix of live DJs, beach games, and a lively crowd, Slinky Bar is the perfect place to let loose and soak up the island nightlife.
