I love getting my nails done. I spend hours on Instagram and Pinterest scrolling for nail design inspiration before my appointment, stressed at the many options in front of me.
If you’re like me and love looking at different styles, designs and colours then you’ve come to the right place.
I wanted to put together a list of my favourite nail design inspiration accounts so that you can scroll to your heart’s content for your next set.
Unfortunately I’m taking a break from getting my nails done at the moment (all will be revealed soon as to why) but I’ll be getting them Christmas-ready soon enough so will be perusing this list in the next few weeks.
Happy scrolling!
1. Iram Shelton
Iram is the queen of classy and sophisticated nails. If you’re looking for a new set that screams quiet luxury and elegance, Iram’s page is the place to look.
2. Nails by Hails
For a pop of colour and cool designs, I would go to Hail’s page for inspiration. Usually in the spring and summer months I’m opting for quirky designs like these and I always get a lot of compliments for this style of design.
3. Nails by Tammy
Tammy is a recent find of mine and actually lives locally to me. I’m very tempted to try out her designs as the intricate level of detail like the one linked below is something I’d love to have on my nails. But the guilt of cheating on my usual nail technician would get to me I think.
4. My Nail Girlness
This account is another go-to for any funky nail designs that I want. Since there are so many different ones to choose from, you don’t need to copy them exactly but pick and choose your favourites and create your own design.
5. Vivian Marie Wong
Vivian is another of my go-tos like Iram Shelton. She always creates very sleek and elegant designs, but often themed to certain times of the year. If you’re after classy Christmas-themed or summer-themed nails, then Vivian is the person to go to for inspiration.
6. Over Glow Edit
Another go-to account, Melanie dabbles in creative themed design, but also natural, one-colour nail designs if you’re looking for something a little more simple.
Plus, Melanie’s account features a lot of videos to show you how to get that salon-look at home.
7. Dissey Nails
I’m not only always lusting over Dissey’s nail designs, but also her ring collection. I’m usually saving her images for both nail design inspiration and ring inspiration as I also wear a lot of gold rings.
So if you’re in the market for some colourful nails, colourful decor or cool rings – Dissey’s Instagram page is the place to go.
8. Phoebe Summer Nails
Phoebe’s nail designs were probably the first that I ever saved when I started to get my nails done after moving back to London.
This one in particular is one that I had recreated for a summer holiday, and then a yellow version of the same thing. Her designs are always beautiful and intricate and I can’t tell you how many different designs I have saved in my Instagram folder.
9. Amber JH Nails
Amber takes intricate designs to the next level. Putting the ‘art’ in nail art, you’re sure to get a lot of compliments with nail designs like the ones that Amber creates.
So beautiful, but I’m not sure my small nail beds would allow for something so beautiful.
10. Gel Polish Bar
For summer nail design inspiration, I always visit Gabriela’s page. With neon colours, flower designs and bright designs perfect for the warm weather, her Instagram page will have you yearning for that pre-holiday nail appointment.
11. Beauty Space Charlotte
I love quirky designs and have had my fair share of neon colours and designs (which I miss so much) and when I need some new inspiration and ideas, I usually come to Charlotte’s page to see what she’s recently created.
Nails like the below are the type of thing I would go for any time of the year, not just at Halloween.
Hopefully you’ve found some new inspiration for your nails among the different Instagram pages linked above. If there’s any that I haven’t mentioned that you love to go to for inspiration, make sure to let me know in the comments. Or even better, if you have a nail design page – let me know and I’ll be sure to include it in my list!
