This blog post is all about my Cactus Hotel review in Rhodes.

Welcome to the Checking In series on Orlagh Claire where I review hotel, hostel and AirBnB stays around the world. As you most likely know, I have been travelling quite a lot recently which you can see over on my YouTube channel.
Next in this series of reviews is Cactus Hotel in Rhodes where a large group of us stayed during our time in Greece.
One of my best friends that I met during my year in New York is from Rhodes, so brought us all to visit during the summer to experience her Greek lifestyle.
We stayed within walking distance to Rhodes Old Town and the nightlife area, and somehow also so close to the beach (you could see it from our balcony), making Cactus Hotel a great location.
If you’re planning a holiday to Rhodes, this is my Cactus Hotel review to help you decide where to stay.

This blog post is all about my Cactus Hotel review.
The Location of Cactus Hotel
The location of Cactus Hotel is perfect.
With a view of the ocean, right at the tip of the island of Rhodes, it was a central location to get to the main area of restaurants and bars in Rhodes itself.
The proximity to the beach and also the view of the ocean from our balcony was definitely the highlight.

Cost to Stay at Cactus Hotel
We stayed at Cactus Hotel in Rhodes for four nights at the very end of July, leading into August which is a peak time during the summer holidays, and a very hot time of year to visit Greece.
For four nights in a double room with a balcony, our stay cost £342.12, working out at £85.53 per night, or £42.77 per night, per person for two people sharing.
Cactus Hotel Review
The hotel had its own pool area with sun loungers that caught the sun for most of the morning and afternoon.
Breakfast was also included in our stay and there was a good range of hot and cold food, as well as pastries each morning.
The hotel itself is very modern, with the rooms feeling sleek and newly designed.

Cactus Hotel Review: Would I Stay at Cactus Hotel Again?
Absolutely.
We had a perfect stay here in Rhodes, and it was always a great place to come back to after being out and about in the heat all day.
The pool and restaurant in the hotel was also welcomed at times when we’d spend the morning chilling out, and grabbing a quick lunch before heading out to explore Rhodes in the evening.
I loved how modern the hotel was, but especially the view of the ocean was a stand-out part of my stay.

Final Cactus Hotel Review
I would definitely book to stay again at Cactus Hotel if I was to come back to Rhodes, and in particular a room with a balcony and ocean view to watch the sunset.
Our stay here was pure bliss, and I’d love to visit again in the future.
You can book a stay at Cactus Hotel, Rhodes here.
