This blog post is all about where to watch the Super Bowl in New York City.

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest annual events in the United States, attracting millions of viewers both at home and around the world.
In many American cities, people tend to throw house parties to watch the game, so while bars can get busy and even sell out for special Super Bowl events, the atmosphere might not match the high-octane vibe you’d see for, say, a World Cup Final in a London pub.
That said, if you do fancy catching the action in a lively New York City venue, there are plenty of great sports bars, rooftops, and hangouts that pull out all the stops for the big day.
Below are some key details about this year’s Super Bowl, followed by my personal recommendations on where to watch in NYC.

The Best Places to Watch the Super Bowl in New York
If you’re looking to enjoy the Super Bowl in a communal, festive atmosphere, here are my top picks of where to watch the Super Bowl in New York City.
Bear in mind that many of these venues may require tickets or reservations for special game-day deals, so plan ahead!
1. Super Bowl in New York: Down the Hatch (West Village)
I couldn’t leave this place off the list. It was practically my local when I lived in New York.
Known for its legendary wings (trust me, they’re phenomenal) and friendly prices, Down the Hatch also has plenty of screens so you won’t miss a second of the action.
The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are great, and you’ll feel right at home whether you’re a football super-fan or just there for the halftime show.
2. Super Bowl in New York: Blondies (Upper West Side)
A staple in the city’s sports-bar scene, Blondies is especially famous for its wings and laid-back vibe.
The venue isn’t huge, so it can fill up fast on game day. If you’re after a more traditional “American sports bar” feel and want to be surrounded by screens on every wall, Blondies has you covered.
