This blog post is all about my Tribe Hotel Perth review.

If you’re planning a trip to Western Australia and are on the hunt for a modern, stylish, and centrally located hotel in Perth, then Tribe Hotel Perth should absolutely be on your radar.
I recently stayed here for two nights while visiting the city for the British & Irish Lions Tour (beating Western Force), and it couldn’t have been a better base for exploring everything Perth has to offer.
Located just a short walk from Kings Park and only five minutes from the free CAT bus stop, Tribe Hotel Perth offers a blend of convenience, comfort, and contemporary design.
With sleek interiors, smart amenities, and stunning city views, it’s the perfect pick for a midweek staycation, a business trip, or a weekend escape.
This blog post is all about my Tribe Hotel Perth review.
Tribe Hotels: Part of a Design-Led Global Brand
Tribe Hotel Perth is part of the broader Tribe Hotels brand, a design-led hospitality chain known for offering affordable luxury with a strong emphasis on style and smart technology.
Originally launched in Perth, the Tribe brand has since expanded to multiple cities worldwide, including Paris, Amsterdam, and Bali, each offering the same cool, urban aesthetic and functional design ethos.
If you’re someone who appreciates clean lines, communal spaces, and thoughtful touches (think USB ports everywhere and sustainable amenities), Tribe Hotel Perth is your kind of place.
A Room With a View
One of the standout features of our stay at Tribe Hotel Perth was the room itself, specifically the view!
We were lucky enough to stay on the top floor (8th floor), and the floor-to-ceiling windows gave us uninterrupted views of the Perth city skyline.
Waking up to the sun rising over the buildings from the comfort of our bed was a real highlight of the trip.
The room was compact but expertly designed. Everything had its place, from a hidden wardrobe to mini iron, making the most of the space.
The bed was super comfortable, the blackout curtains ensured a great night’s sleep, and the rainfall shower was just what we needed after a long day of travel.
Other in-room features included high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV with casting capabilities, a Nespresso coffee machine, and eco-conscious toiletries. Whether you’re staying for business or leisure, it’s a space where you can easily relax or catch up on work.

Onsite Amenities and Dining
While Tribe Hotel Perth doesn’t operate a full-scale in-house restaurant, it does have an inviting communal lobby space with a cafe offering fresh coffee, pastries, and snacks.
The lobby is also a great place to work or relax, with long tables, charging stations, and plenty of natural light.
In the evenings, the communal area transforms into a cosy lounge where guests can enjoy drinks and mingle.
There’s also a vending machine offering curated snacks, beverages, and local goodies if you’re in need of a late-night bite.
Location, Location, Location
The hotel’s location is one of its strongest assets. Nestled just beside the sprawling Kings Park and Botanic Garden, it’s perfect for morning walks, afternoon picnics, or panoramic views over the Swan River and Perth skyline.
Being only five minutes away from the free CAT Bus stop makes getting around the city a breeze.
Whether you’re heading to Northbridge for nightlife, Elizabeth Quay for waterfront dining, or the CBD for shopping, everything is easily accessible from Tribe Hotel Perth.

What to Do in Perth for 48 Hours
If you’re basing yourself at Tribe Hotel Perth, you’re in the ideal spot for making the most of a short city break. Here’s how to spend 48 hours in Perth:
Day 1: Urban Adventures
1. Kings Park and Botanic Garden
Start your morning with a stroll through Kings Park. This massive inner-city park offers walking trails, botanical gardens, and panoramic views over the Swan River and CBD. It’s one of the largest urban parks in the world and a must-see in Perth.
2. Elizabeth Quay
Hop on the free CAT bus from the nearby stop and head to the Quay. This waterfront precinct is filled with public art, walkways, food trucks, and scenic views of the Swan River. Grab a coffee, take a stroll, or even book a river cruise.
3. Perth Cultural Centre
Visit the Art Gallery of Western Australia, WA Museum Boola Bardip, and the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, all located within walking distance of each other. This area is a hub for creatives and offers insight into both Indigenous and modern Australian art and history.
4. Dinner in Northbridge
Just a short ride away, Northbridge is one of Perth’s most exciting neighbourhoods for nightlife and food. Grab dumplings, ramen, or Korean BBQ, followed by a drink at one of the rooftop bars.

Day 2: Coastal Escapes & Local Flavours
1. Day trip to Fremantle
Catch the train to Fremantle, Perth’s bohemian harbour city. Explore the historic Fremantle Prison, browse artisan goods at the weekend markets, and enjoy fish and chips down by the harbour.
2. Cottesloe Beach
In the afternoon, head to Cottesloe for some sun and sea. Just a 20-minute drive or Uber from Tribe Hotel Perth, Cottesloe offers golden sand, clear waters, and a vibrant cafe scene along Marine Parade.
3. Sunset at Kings Park or the beach
Back in the city, finish your second evening with a walk back up to Kings Park to catch sunset views over the city, or if you’re still near the coast, stay and watch the sun dip into the Indian Ocean.
4. Dinner near Tribe Hotel Perth
For your final evening, enjoy dinner at one of the nearby eateries in West Perth or the CBD. There are options for every craving, from tapas to Thai.

Final Thoughts on Tribe Hotel Perth
Tribe Hotel Perth is one of the most convenient and aesthetically pleasing places you can stay in the city.
Whether you’re here for a sporting event like we were, a weekend away, or a stopover on your Western Australia road trip, this hotel ticks all the boxes.
From the stunning views to the onsite amenities and unbeatable location next to Kings Park, Tribe Hotel Perth is the perfect base for exploring Perth in style.
As part of the global Tribe Hotels brand, it brings thoughtful design, tech-savvy touches, and an approachable price point together in one smartly packaged urban stay.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book another visit next time I’m in the city, especially if it means waking up to those incredible Perth sunrises all over again.
