This blog post is all about 2025 holidays.

There’s so much of the world to see and so little time.
Even though 2024 was packed with travel adventures, my wanderlust is far from satisfied—there’s still so much out there calling my name.
As I start planning for 2025, I’ve pulled together my top suggestions for where to go next and where you should spend your 2025 holidays.
This blog post is all about where to spend your 2025 holidays.
Where to Spend Your 2025 Holidays
Below are places I’ve dreamed of visiting, fallen in love with, or can’t wait to explore again. And I think these will also make the perfect destination for your 2025 holidays.
Where I’ve already been, I’ve added in YouTube vlogs to give you a real feel for the place and to see it for yourself.
Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel as I’ll be posting a lot in 2025 of the travels I’ve been on this year and continue to have in the New Year.
1. The Lofoten Islands, Norway
This has been high up on my bucket list for a while now. Seriously, just Google it—it looks absolutely stunning.
The jagged peaks rising from crystal-clear fjords, the colourful fishing villages, and the overall untouched beauty of the area make it look like something out of a fairytale.
If you’re planning a trip, make sure to visit in the summer when the Midnight Sun creates nearly constant daylight. It’s perfect for hiking, kayaking, and just soaking in the incredible scenery.
Winter, on the other hand, is mostly darkness. While the idea of chasing the Northern Lights might appeal to some, the thought of 24/7 night is just not for me.
I visited Norway for the first time in 2023 and have been obsessed ever since. If you want to see what I got up to in Bergen, you can watch my Norway YouTube vlog below. I can’t wait to explore so much more of this beautiful country!
2. Iceland
Iceland is one of those destinations that feels like another planet—and the best part? Flights from London are relatively cheap, making it an ideal place for a quick getaway, even if the country itself isn’t exactly budget-friendly.
If you’re heading there, I recommend visiting between September and April to catch the Northern Lights or in summer for endless days to explore waterfalls, black sand beaches, and volcanic landscapes.
A good way to traverse around Iceland is by renting budget campervans from reputed companies like Cozy Campers to ensure you can explore more and stop anywhere.
With just a few days, you can see some of Iceland’s most famous sights, like the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon.
3. Banff, Canada
Banff is easily one of the places I want to visit most in the world. Everything about this part of the Canadian Rockies looks like a dream—the turquoise lakes, snow-capped mountains, and that cozy alpine vibe.
Lake Louise and Moraine Lake have been on my travel bucket list for years, and I can’t wait to see them in person.
While Banff itself is stunning, I’d love to do a road trip around Canada and spend a few days here soaking in the scenery, hiking, and exploring. Whether it’s summer for the trails or winter for the skiing, Banff is the perfect destination for outdoor lovers.
4. Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka was one of the first places I visited during my travels in 2024, and it completely stole my heart.
It has a bit of an early Bali vibe in some areas, with a perfect mix of lush landscapes, rich culture, and incredible food. From the stunning train ride from Kandy to Ella to the beaches of Mirissa, there’s so much to see and do.
If you’re thinking of visiting, check out my Sri Lanka YouTube vlogs for a look at my trip and find my Sri Lanka travel guide for all my top tips on where to stay, what to eat, and what to see.
5. Cuba
Cuba is one of those places that feels like it’s frozen in time, and I really want to visit before it changes.
The colourful streets of Havana, the classic cars, and the vibrant culture make it such a unique destination.
The country is already starting to evolve, so if you want to experience Cuba’s charm and authenticity, make sure to get there soon. Viñales Valley, with its tobacco farms and stunning landscapes, is at the top of my list for places to visit outside Havana.
6. The Philippines
I visited the Philippines in 2024 with I’m Here Travels, and it’s a place I’d recommend to everyone. The islands are incredible, and the beaches? Absolutely next level.
Boracay, in particular, has some of the best water and sand I’ve ever seen—it was like a real-life desktop screen saver.

I can’t wait to go back and explore more of the Philippines. Whether you’re into diving, island-hopping, or just relaxing on a beautiful beach, this is a destination that truly has it all.
7. Cappadocia, Turkey
You’ve probably seen Cappadocia’s hot air balloons all over Instagram—it’s a dream destination for good reason. The fairy chimneys, cave hotels, and surreal landscapes make it one of the most unique places in the world.
While Cappadocia is a must, Turkey as a whole is definitely a country I’d love to spend more time exploring in 2025. Between Istanbul’s vibrant culture and the beaches of Antalya, there’s so much to see and experience.
8. Lombok, Indonesia
I’ve been to Bali twice, and while I’ll always love it, I think it’s time to explore more of Indonesia. Lombok seems like the perfect place to start. It’s less crowded than Bali but still offers stunning beaches, lush jungles, and incredible waterfalls.
The Gili Islands, just off Lombok’s coast, are supposed to be amazing for snorkelling and diving, while Mount Rinjani offers a challenging but rewarding trek. If you’re looking for a quieter, more laid-back alternative to Bali, Lombok is it.
9. San Diego, USA
I have a road trip planned for my 2025 holidays that includes San Diego, and I honestly can’t wait! This coastal city has such a relaxed vibe, and there’s so much to do—from exploring Balboa Park to walking along the beaches of La Jolla.
I’m especially excited to watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean—San Diego seems like the perfect place for those golden-hour moments.
Stay tuned, as I’ll be sharing more about this trip and the rest of my 2025 holidays soon!
10. Socotra, Yemen
Socotra has been trending on social media lately, and for good reason—it looks absolutely surreal. The Dragon’s Blood Trees and untouched beaches make it one of the most unique places in the world.
If you’re thinking of going, I’d recommend doing it sooner rather than later. Destinations like this often get busier as they gain popularity. And Socotra’s untouched beauty is part of what makes it so special.
11. Bar Harbor, USA
Bar Harbor is the gateway to Acadia National Park, and it’s the perfect destination for anyone who loves the outdoors. Watching the sunrise from Cadillac Mountain, exploring rugged coastal trails, and also relaxing in the quaint town are just a few of the reasons to visit.
If you’re planning an East Coast adventure, don’t miss my East Coast Road Trip Guide for all the best stops and tips. Bar Harbor is definitely a highlight!
12. Nashville, USA
Nashville is hands-down my favourite place in the world. There’s just something about the live music, incredible food, and welcoming atmosphere that makes it such a special city. Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, Nashville is always a good time.
So, if you’re planning a trip, check out my Nashville Guide for recommendations on where to stay, what to eat, and how to make the most of your visit.
Trust me—you’ll also fall in love with Music City just like I have.
